What we know from the gods' Promise Of Infinities, is that Heaven's Rift is so rare, it only ever comes around once in hundreds and thousands millennials!!

Which is the only time gods can marry!

And... All of the gods were like- discussing who could tell them about the Heaven's Rift and what it may happen and everyone was like- "Meh... None of us was around at the time".

Also, what do you think about the dream's ending? I think one was sad or something and the other was a more open ending?? It's been a while since I played that story, I don't quite remember.

What are your thoughts on it? Do you think it reveals an underlying fear of the MC, knowing there was once a possibility, when she and Scorpio could be forced apart?? Because in his main story, MC is told that she has to cross the gate of the taboo (or something) and her memories of Scorpio and the gods will be erased completely.

And that's what happens with Scorpio too in one of the endings of her dreams, if I remember correctly!!

Something tells me that most of the time Dui gets dragged into Ichthys' bullshit is because his "darker" side takes the lead (even if only subconsciously) and wants to cause trouble too. On the other hand, there's no one left to take responsibility, RIP Dui. 💀

Right after that, MC slaps Leon. It seems she's well aware that he's a real jerk, especially since she's originally with Scorpio, who can't stand Leon. As often in couples, one rubs off on the other and vice versa.

Yeah, while we're at it, we might as well drop a little depression bomb as soon as you appear, Hue. Does that mean MC sees Hue's grief in reality even without knowing what it is? Tough… 💀

Sometimes I think about the contrast between scorpio and karno

Both use the color red in all their imagery.

Both are second in command to the department leaders.

Crabs are related to arachnids

They foil each others character.

Scorpio prayed to be 'clean' and not a human anymore. He wants a different life.

A/N: I tried my best to capture the essence of your request but i think i failed badly. This story did not turn out as i had wanted it to be. Still i hope you like it. ❤️

Taking a sip of water from the glass, i once again felt the terrible pain in my throat. One that indicated i might need to see a doctor soon.

"You got the appointment?" My friend asked as i ended the call and kept my phone inside the bag.

"Yes", i replied, taking in a deep breath.

She gently covered my hand with hers and said, "I would have come with you..."

"That's alright", i said smiling at her, "I will manage."

She looked a bit unsure but returned my smile. Trying to lighten the mood she asked, "How was the movie that you went to see?"

Soon the conversation took many turns, as the theories about why the plot took a certain direction, how it affected the characters and thereby the audience were discussed. And before i knew it, i were standing in front of my house; ringing the door bell.

Mom opened the door and welcomed me inside, swiftly taking the heavy bag from my shoulders and she kept it in its place.

"How was your day, my dear?" She asked, placing her hand on my forehead.

"Good" i replied slowly.

"She can't come with you tomorrow?" She asked; aware of the fact that my outing with my friend had not gone as expected.

"No, but i will be alright."

"I would have come with you."

"But there is a meeting, which was decided in the last minute." I said ruefully.

"I am sorry." She replied, sadness and guilt evident in her voice.

I hugged her gently, "I will be fine, mom. Don't worry."

She looked into my eyes, before placing a soft kiss on my forehead. And hugged me once more.

The next morning, i came down to the living room, to find mom and Scorpio waiting for me.

He smiled as our eyes met. Perhaps we were looking at each other far too longer than we realised as mother said sweetly, "Well, i am getting late", smiling at both of us.

"We will be on our way." Scorpio said in an apologetic tone. Stepping out of the house, he held my hand and snapped his fingers, bringing us in front of the clinic.

"Let's go inside." He suggested; waiting for my approval. I nodded my head in agreement.

Walking inside i found an empty spot on the sofa in the waiting area, while Scorpio went to speak with the receptionist.

"We have to wait here for a few minutes. They will call us soon." Scorpio said as he stood beside the sofa.

He placed his hand on my shoulder. A faint smile appeared on my face, at this silent reassurance that, i was not alone.

The lady, who was sitting beside me, stood up and slowly walked off, as she heard her name being called.

Scorpio sat beside me. He intertwined his fingers with mine. Relaxing my shoulders, i leaned against him; resting my head against his shoulder.

Thankfully there were not many people and we did not had to wait far too long.

"Miss (Y/N)."

We walked to the doctor's room. Seeing us, the doctor smiled. "Please, take a seat". He said; closing the file in front of him.

I felt my hands getting colder as he started asking me questions. It seemed like, he realised i was feeling uneasy as he spoke a bit softy and tried to smile in between questions. Unbeknownst to him, that did not help me much.

Scorpio held my hand under the table. He started to softly trace circles on the back of my hand. Which surprisingly had a soothing effect on me.

Once the doctor wrote the prescription, he handed it to Scorpio and instructed me the proper use of the medication. We thanked him and left.

"You should take rest", mom said on the phone. "I will, ma." Saying that i hung up the phone and waited.

"I am perfectly capable of doing that, you know." I said softly as Scorpio was done putting the croissants on the plates.

He went to turn on the television. "And that too."

"I know but the doctor said."

'Please take rest miss, otherwise the symptoms might become worse.' Scorpio repeated what the doctor had said earlier as he handed me the remote and took a seat beside me on the sofa.

"Pick something, miss" he said in an almost teasing tone; his eyes filled with mischief and the boyish smile lighting his face.

"Gladly, monsieur", i replied trying my best to sound annoyed.

We found a comedy movie to watch. Which was a welcoming turn of events. The croissant was delicious, and i was glad Scorpio decided to stop by my favorite bakery down the street.

"Thank you for being there with me." I said earnestly; as he was stroking my scalp.

"Don't ever think you are alone. I will always be there with you." Saying that, he placed a soft kiss on my temple.

The rest of evening, we watched many more movies until, mom came home. Mom had brought one of my favorite dishes, which the three of us shared.

A dreadful day turned into a memorable one, as we shared many stories amongst each other.

Quick little headcanon/thought/theory/whatever you wanna call it...

Now, you see-

I like to think that MC is far stronger than the 12 gods combined—and maybe even stronger than the king!!

First of all: In Greek mythology,

there are 3 sisters. The "Moirai" (in Greek: Μοίρες).

They were:

(the youngest) Clotho—she who spun the thread, symbolising the birth of a soul.

(middle sister) Lachesis—she who basically led the thread and guided the soul throughout the path of life and

(the oldest) Atropos—she who cut the thread, symbolising the death of a soul.

It is VERY important to note, that in Greek mythology, even Zeus himself—the very king of all the gods—could not disobey them or dictate their decision and/or actions.

The Moirai (the fates) were the natural order, which NO god or human or anyone else could ever defy.

Back to SCM:

The king is a powerful being, which no one can defy. And no one can erase a king's punishment, or mark of sin... Except the MC.

So right off the bat, we know that even as a mere, small human, MC can already defy the powers of the king. I think that's no small fit!!

Also, as a goddess (Clotho) and even now as a human (MC) (in Scorpio's "promise of infinity" specifically), she seems to be the only one who can save the Earth from mass and absolute destruction. Something the king of the Heavens himself seems unable to do.

So... Even when now, as a human, MC is strong enough to bypass the king's powers, I'm wondering just HOW powerful she is as a goddess.

Also, another theory of mine:

We all know it's strictly forbidden for a human and a god to get romantically involved, but the king just....

And we all are like- "Ah, true love."

But I'm really wondering, if beneath the whole "I'm generous" act of the king, he's secretly like... "I cannot disobey the goddess of fate!!"

Leon becoming the king rambles

I haven't finished the entirety of everyone's stories (I just did the mainstory for all 12) but I've been thinking about Leon's final story where he ascends to the king status.

more info dumping theories below. Also I could be wrong like again I have not finished anyone's story completely pls correct me if im wrong

From what I've seen he becomes king of the heavens and is given a new set of stars (the king star).

It makes me wonder who's taking over as minister of wishes/ruler of leo. He did give MC the Leo constellation for her to become a god iirc. It's funny bcuz its almost like his name correlates to a lion and itd probably get confusing from there. Also MC has aquarius in one of her eyes so I wonder if it just went back to hue after this.

Would Vega or Karno become minister? Would it be MC? Would the departments even be a thing when he's king or would he fundamentally just change everything.

If leon becomes the new king/becomes omnipotent, wouldn't he just be forced to live like the king, always hidden away and alone because he literally sees and knows all. Only left a victim of watching things happen until ppl come up to you for more. Letting curiosity roam free as you have infinite power to do anything. A move of his hand and things are gone. Is he even himself at this point or does the curse of infinite knowledge and power catch up.

This also dives into Leon as a character. He's portrayed as lazy and uninterested (on mondays or smthn) at first. He's also shown as a hard worker and genuinely tries to be just and fair. Whenever a god is in trouble he always makes a stand towards Zyg and the King. Most of his character arc is Leon trying to understand that he can trust MC/other people and that they care for him as a person, not a mighty powerful being. Despite his attitude towards everything, Leon is just a character who has to learn to undo his past ways of thinking that were hurting him and the people around him (and he does healthily learn). Leon's behavior is also very cat-like.

Would he be able to keep all the progress he made in a position similar to where he was most hurt.

He also marries mc and has a kid in that route so ig there's that. From what I've seen he changes a few things to allow everything to go smoothly.

Also to note Star-crossed myth has generally happy endings and is on positive notes most of the time compared to other god media being nitty gritty. I may be reading too deep into this to cope with the bad ending of a new video game. For some reason I really love fics/concepts with the scm gods that are tragic like actual mythology/fairytales

I just consumed a bunch of different media that dealt with characters becoming omnipotent gods and it never ends well.

Most of the times characters who ascend to higher status are just left as watchers, in new forms, only watching what once was and what they once had. No one knows if the previous versions of themselves are still there, or just apart of something bigger now.

There was one fan excerpt where the chars of the show were just yelling at the sky/showing the sky items they bought. They did this hoping to show their old friend who had became an omnipotent god said items, and having no idea if they saw it or not. The ex-partner of the person who ascended also spent a majority of the show trying to speak to them again. Even if they weren't together it was the act of love that stayed.

In a new video game that just came out, theres a character who has a really traumatic backstory and has the option to stop their abuser and 'ascend' to a position like their captor. The entire arc of this specific character relies on them making their own choices for once and not being apart of someones plan, and you as the player have the option to watch them make their choice to ascend or try to change their mind. When this character ascends it literally cursed them into continuing their cycle of abuse and losing themselves in the process. Spent the entire game going through character development only for a ritual to just undo everything hahaha imissthemsomuch one thing ascending did was take away their sense of humor and ability to be nice.

tldr Leon probably pissed off Zyglavis somehow and Zyg gave leon the 'ultimate punishment' and took himself out of the competition. The punishment being the weight of the crown.
